I dropped off quite a bit this year, but the highlight was Housman’s book. I’ve been enamored of his ‘land of lost content’, but finally got around to reading this entire volume. Twice! and with an LLM by my side.
The other highlight has to be ‘The Loneliness of Sonia and Sunny,’ where I was finally able to understand the difference between representation and archetype, which is now leading me into internalizing other models.
There are 50 titles below. I’m pretty sure I’ve missed a few that are not here, I’ll add them if I remember them.

Methinks I like Adrian Tchaikovsky quite a bit. Brilliant world building, and he draws his stories to very satisfying conclusions.
